About the event
Munakara (pronounced “moon kai”) is a traditional technique originally mentioned in Al-Biruni’s text, The Book of Instruction in the Elements of the Art of Astrology.
Munakara translates to ‘contention’ and describes a dilemma in the expression of a given planet's energy. In this talk, Joy will explore the roots of this ancient technique and guide you through the considerations needed to apply this layer of meaning in contemporary chart interpretation.
